Lawrence Land has been practicing law for more than 34 years.  He has a passion for helping people, which is what prompted him to pursue a career as a lawyer.  

Lawrence graduated with a psychology major and human relations minor from the University of Miami.  He then earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University of Richmond in 1975.  As part of his law school curriculum, Lawrence also took courses at the University of Kent in London.

You can call Lawrence a true “homegrown” Virginia lawyer.  He was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Now, he resides in Northern Virginia with his wife of 22 years and four children – 15-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son and twin 7-year-old girls.  

The ties that Lawrence has to Virginia are strong.  In 1976, he opened his law office and has since represented 25,000 personal injury cases. He continues to help injured people and their families from all walks of life.
