UPDATE: The child, Daniel Taylor, died on Wednesday due to the injuries he sustained in the accident. The police have not filed any charges because the student had not been crossing in a cross walk. Kempsville High School students are distressed about the loss of this promising freshman. He wanted to join the track team, he was always on honor roll, and looked forward to going to college. This is quite a tragedy to see a young man who is the same age as my daughter die before he reached his full potential. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
