2009 Norfolk Crash in Court

On July 25, 2009 a ride home ended in two passengers killed and one badly injured, according to the Virginian Pilot Online. The trial for this horrific accident is said to be taking place all this week. The defense is claiming that the driver was hit in the head which caused his vehicle to run off the road. Witnesses said that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed and the driver was supposedly driving under the influence. As an accident lawyer this case piqued my interest because it is very unique in that there are many questionable details that could hurt or help the families if they brought a civil suit against the driver.
