Another Shore Drive Bicyclist Hurt

The second cyclist in over a month to be hit by a vehicle, Monika Glandorff, is now being treated for severe injuries at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, according to Virginian Pilot Online. She is being treated for two fractured vertebrae and a broken leg. Jim Dunham another cyclist who was hit along shore drive has been relearning how to walk. He hopes to be able to ride again in the fall. There should be something done to prevent accidents like this on Shore Drive because the next person could not be as lucky.
