Car Plummets into the Chesapeake Bay

On Tuesday morning Jean Calcagno’s body was found after his car had been reported falling off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, according to the Virginian Pilot. While rescue crews were searching and cleaning up from the accident a secondary accident occurred that caused minor injuries. This was the first crash like this in five years. The police are still investigating the incident. This is a tragedy that a life was taken from this family. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel can be dangerous on the calmest days, so if you have to go over the bridge just stay alert to any changes in weather, traffic patterns, and speed limit.
