Fishersville Woman Killed by Pickup Truck

In Augusta Circuit Court the attorneys for both sides will be deliberating about the offer from State Farm Insurance Company of $100,000 for the death of a woman from Fishersville, Virginia, according to The News Virginian. Stephen Joel Vance, the driver of the pickup truck, swerved and hit a concrete ditch after his tire blew out. After hitting the concrete ditch he crashed into Lucille Simmons Wheeler as she was mowing her lawn. Her death certificate said she died because of multiple injuries.

When a family member is taken from you it is something that is very hard to overcome. I hope her son will be afforded some closure once both sides come to an agreement. This is such a tragedy.
