Hampton Roads Transit Bus in Virginia Beach Accident on Atlantic Ave.

A Virginia Beach hit-and-run accident involving a Hampton Roads Transit bus and another vehicle last month caused $12,000 in damage to the bus, according to the The Virginian-Pilot and Hampton Roads news source.  The crash occurred when a Ford Expedition slammed into the northbound bus on Atlantic Avenue and fled the scene.  Only five passengers were on board the bus at the time of the Virginia Beach accident, and no one was said to have suffered injuries.
