As reported in the Southside Sentinel online news. According to the police report, the crash occurred on a curve on Rt. 622 about half a mile from Rt. 3.  Tashaya N. Brooks of Susan in Matthews County was driving toward Hartfield when a wheel on her vehicle dropped off the right side of the pavement.  Her out of control car came back on the road and slid sideways into the oncoming lane, colliding with a car driven by Mary Lowery of Irving.  The front of Lowery's car impacted the passenger side doors of Brook's car, which slid a few feet and hit a tree on the driver's door.
