As reported by NVdaily.com; A Volkswagen Jetta traveling northbound on U.S. 340 shortly before noon veered off the road to the right and went into a ditch just south of Va. 611.  The car struck a utility pole and then a fence according to Sgt. F.L. Tyler with the Virginia State Police.  The 42-year-old driver Clinton Jordan, was taken by mediacl helicopter to Inova Fairfax Hospital.  Jordans condition Thursday afternoon was not known.
