$425,000 Settlement- Hit by Driver Traveling at a High Rate of Speed

A truck driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into my client at a high rate of speed, causing severe injuries.  Much like driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while fatigued (drowsy driving) is a form of impaired driving, and truck accident victims may be able to recover punitive damages from accidents caused by drivers who fall asleep at the wheel.  What many Norfolk truck accident victims and other Virginia crash survivors may know is that truck drivers violate hour restrictions and continue to drive when exhausted in order to reach destinations more quickly or meet deadlines on time.
