A friend has recently returned from a tour in Iraq and suffered a brain injury while there, he was told he could not receive Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) which is supposed to be very helpful in correcting brain injuries. This makes no sense. Why is this?

A: Traumatic Brain Injury is the signature wound of the Iraq War--yet the United States government itself is preventing access to the veterns from accessing HBOT.
