Mike Patterson defensive tackle with the Philadelphia Eagles has a brain (AVM)

Reported by nbcsports.msnbc.com; It wasn't just dehydration. AVM is a tangle of the blood vessels in the skull and the seizure is not related to football. Patterson may end up needing brain surgery to repair the ATM. All hope for Patterson is not lost, however, as Pacers PG A.J. Price had the same condition and is now back playing. However, the Eagles can't count on Patterson playing anytime soon. He's expected to be released from the hospital today, before consulting doctors on his next step.
