HRT has come out with pamphlets and a safety commercial to prepare people to be on alert. Here are a few tips from HRT on how to avoid an accident with the Tide:

    1. Look both ways before proceeding
    2. Pay attention to traffic patterns
    3. Stay alert of all signs pertaining to the Tide
    4. Leave enough room between you and the train when crossing its path
    5. DO NOT STAND OR PARK ON THE TRACKS THEY ARE NOT FOR YOU
    6. Overhead Wires are ELECTRICAL WIRES DO NOT TOUCH
