• Yasmin (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is an oral contraceptive manufactured by Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals. According to the National Institutes of Health, side effects of birth control pills may include vaginal bleeding, change of vision in contact wearers or inability to wear contact lenses, fluid retention, spotty darkening of the facial skin called melasma and more.
