Letter: Attacked on Parkway, motorist out of control

This article was written by Robert Foster to The Virginia Gazette;Titled, Letter: Attacked on Parkway

I was about a mile east of the college creek beach heading for Williamsburg when I noticed a car in my rearview mirror. I thought it was a bit far to the right, so I pulled over as close to the edge of the road as possible. As the car passed by, the passenger swung his door open in a clear attempt to hit me. The edge of the door missed me by two inches. Since the car was doing at least 45 mph, I am certain I would have been seriously injured and quite possibly killed if it had hit me. This was clearly premeditated. For Mr. Fosters entire letter go to the Gazette link.

If you or someone you know is a witness to this type of dangerous behavior, please report it immediately to the nearest law enforcement authority.
