16-year-old Girl Charged with DUI

In Delaware on New Years Eve a 16-year-old girl was struck by a ford pickup truck after she disobeyed a traffic signal, according to Delmarva.com . Five people were taken to the hospital to treat the injuries that were sustained from the accident. One of the five injured, a passenger to in the 16-year-old’s car, had to be flown to Christiana Hospital in Newark to be treated for head injuries. The girl was charged with driving under the influence, failure to stop at a stop sign, and no proof of insurance. There is no update on the condition of all the passengers.
