3 Injured in Virginia Tractor Trailer Accident Caused by Negligence

Three were injured in a Virginia accident between a tractor trailer and a smaller vehicle on Route 288 Friday, April 23, according to the VA Fire News site.  The Chesterfield accident reportedly occurred around 8:15 a.m. when the driver of a Pontiac missed his exit and made a U-turn in the median.  The Pontiac driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic as he made the illegal U-turn, which caused a collision between his vehicle and a tractor trailer.  The driver of the truck and Pontiac, as well as a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries in the Virginia tractor trailer accident.
