Alcohol Causes Fatal Norfolk Car Accident

Posted on Aug 12, 2010

The 30-year-old driver of a vehicle that tragically killed three people when it crashed into a Norfolk home has been charged with DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol), according to the WTKR news source.  According to police, the fatal Norfolk accident occurred yesterday when Craig A. Watson lost control of his car in a curve and struck a guardrail, then crashed into a street light, stop sign, street sign, tree and, finally, the house.  Watson and two other occupants of the vehicle were injured in the unusual crash, and the passengers who were tragically killed were from Virginia Beach, Hampton, and Chesapeake.  Two of the fatal accident victims were teenagers, and one was only 29 years of age.

As a Norfolk wrongful death lawyer and car accident attorney, Lawrence Land expresses his deepest condolences to the family and friends of these tragic accident victims, and his thoughts are with them at this most difficult time.  If there are any questions you would like answered or need our assistance in any way, we will provide you with free resources and advice with compassion and professionalism.
