Carlee L. Lawson was westbound in a 2004 Nissan when she reportedly crossed the center line and struck a tree on the opposite side of the road around 12:38 a.m., according to Corey Byers, spokeswoman for the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office.
CCSO deputy Aaron Adams responded to the wreck in the 14,000 block of Norman Road.
Lawson and her male passenger were transported to Culpeper Regional Hospital for minor injuries, Byers added.
Lawson was also charged with driving with no seatbelt.
