Bullying Cause in York Wrongful Death Case

Alise Williams of the York-Poquoson area is filing a wrongful death civil suit against 4 Grafton High School administrators for their part in her son’s death, according to the Williamsburg Yorktown Daily. The boy killed himself after allegedly being repeatedly bullied at school. The school guidance counselor was allegedly made aware of the situation, but never informed other school officials. The judge ruled the documents from the Department of Social Services, guidance councilor records, and disciplinary records will be permissable during the hearing. The case will hopefully be settled as soon as a new permanent judge is named for the York-Poquoson Circuit Court.
