Car Crash - Claims Life of Martinsville Man

The crash happened about 4:15a.m. on Virginia 57, about seven-tenths of a mile west of Virginia 609. Daniel A. Deshazo was driving westbound in a 2008 Mazda 6 when it ran off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and rolled several times. Deshazo, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, police said. He died at the scene.
