Cardinal's Hall of Famer | Manager Whitey Herzog - Suffers Head Injury

The Cardinals’ Hall of Fame manager was still in the intensive care unit as of Friday morning, and friends and family are understandably concerned.
Whitey’s son, Jim Herzog, provided an update and made a request via email:
“Whitey Herzog suffered a fall at home Monday which caused a head contusion and bruised shoulder. We expect a full recovery. But quiet rest is essential at this time. The family appreciates all your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for respecting his privacy as he takes time to heal.”
