For the full article go to The Southside Messenger; According to Virginia State Police, the woman driver 22 -years -old, crossed the center line and struck the male driver age 62 head on. Both cars were traveling at approximately , 55 miles per hour and neither driver had time to brake. The woman driver was flown by Centra One to Lynchburg General Hospital with serious injuries. The male driver was transported to Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville. Charges are pending.
