Elizabeth B. Fitzwater, Prosecutor for Portsmouth, was killed in a car accident on Labor Day, according to the Virginian Pilot. When Ms. Fitzwater veered a little to the right she overcorrected and collided head on with another vehicle. Her son and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
