Courtland Cash Two Injured

On Highway 58 in Courtland at 7:30 John T. Jones was making a left hand turn into a 7-11 when a Toyota Tacoma hit his passenger side. The driver’s of both vehicles were taken to Southampton Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained from the accident. John Jones, 52 year old from Franklin, was charged with failure to yield the right of way. The driver of the Tacoma, 33 year old Brian Futrell of Capron, was driving the speed limit, which is why he was not charged for causing the accident.
