Dean McDermott, Dirt Biking, & Motorcycle Accidents

Tori Spelling's husband and reality television co-star Dean McDermott sustained a punctured lung in a recent dirt-bike accident and was placed in intensive care after the crash, according to the On the Red Carpet website.  McDermott had already suffered a fractured shoulder in a previous motorcycle accident this year, and this second crash served as a wake-up call to keep him from dirt biking, even as a hobby (he had already given up the sport professionally after the first accident).  After this month's incident, the "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" star required treatment for a collapsed lung and rehabilitation for crash-related injuries.  He tweeted about the event, sharing details about his hospital stay and declaring that he would not be dirt biking again.
