Reported by the Daily Press; A 78-year-old Eastern Shore man died Tuesday morning after an accident where he struck a tractor-trailer, then continued driving off the road and hit a Caterpiller grader, acccording to state police. George Roberts Stevens Sr,, of Belle Haven, was driving his pickup truck on Rt. 13 in Accomack County, just north of Nelsonia, when the accident occurred. According to the state police, Stevens ran into the back of the tractor trailer causing his airbag to deploy and filling up the truck's cabin with smoke. Steven's then went off the road and slammed into a Caterpiller grader.
