Greenbay, Va.| Man Walks Away From Cadillac/Tractor Crash

A Greenbay man miraculously escaped serious injury in an accident on Highway 360 on Wednesday morning.

Roy Jefferson, age 44 of Greenbay, was travelling west on Highway 360 near Cloverdale Drive when he was struck from behind by a 1979 Cadillac DeVille.

The impact sheared the rear left wheel from the tractor, a Deutz 70 Series that dates from the late 60’s or early 70’s. The left rear wheel and the Cadillac came to a rest in the lefthand ditch. The now three-wheeled tractor overturned, throwing Jefferson free and coming to a rest facing the opposite direction.

Jefferson suffered some scrapes and bruises and was transported by EMS to Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville. Full article; www.southsidemessanger.com
