Trooper K. R. Martin reported Robert E. Harvey, 24, and his two passengers, all of Farmville, were slightly injured when the 1989 Chevrolet Caprice he was driving ran off the right side of the road and struck some trees.
EMS personnel transported Harvey and his passengers, Jasmine Rickmond and Juan Chambers, to Halifax Regional Hospital where they were treated for their injuries and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.
The crash occurred at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 360, three-fourths of a mile west of Route 344.
Trooper Martin said the Caprice was a total loss, and he charged Harvey with reckless driving.
