Norfolk Accident Sends Bicyclist to Hospital, Shuts Down Intersection

A bicyclist suffered injuries in a Norfolk car accident that shut down the northbound lines of Tidewater Dr. at Virginia Beach Blvd. four approximately one hour, according to the Daily Press.  Although the bicyclist did not appear to sustain serious injuries, the biker was taken to a local hospital for examination after the collision.  Police were still investigating the Norfolk vehicle-bicycle accident at the time of the report, and it was not yet known whether any charges would be filed in connection with the Virginia crash.
