Norfolk Car Accident Tragically Kills One on I-264

A 21-year-old man from Virginia Beach man was killed in a tragic car accident in Norfolk early Thursday morning, May 20, according to the Hampton Roads news source.  The I-264 crash occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. when a speeding 2006 Acura veered off the roadway and struck a retaining wall, then ran off the other side of the road before hitting a guard rail, light pole, and control box.  The car then overturned multiple times and ejected all three of its occupants, according to the Virginia State Police.  After the tragic Norfolk accident, the driver of the vehicle was killed, and the two passengers required transportation to the hospital for the treatment of crash-related injuries.
