Norfolk, Va. |Scooter Crash - Police Identify Driver

Police have identified the operator of a scooter who died Tuesday from injuries in a single-vehicle crash as James Allen Blackwood, 35, of Virgilina Avenue.
About 3:30 p.m., the scooter struck a guardrail in the area of Tidewater Drive and West Ocean View Avenue, said Chris Amos, a police spokesman. Blackwood was taken to a hospital and died about an hour later.
