Fire destroyed a home on the Eastern Shore early Tuesday.
Crews from Parksley, Tasley, Onley and Onancock battled smoke and flames at 25518 Parks Road around 5:20 a.m.
A water line had to be run down the long driveway and crews from Melfa and Wachapreague sent tankers to support the water shuttle operation, according to firefighters.
Crews with Eastern Shore Fire shot images of the fire and the firefight.
Va. State Police and local firefighters are investigating.
