www.wavy.com; Sgt. Michelle Anaya with the Virginia State Police said the accident happened in Southampton County on Rt. 460 eastbound, just west of Ivor.
An empty tractor trailer ran off the right side of the road, over corrected, struck a vehicle and was hit head on by a tractor trailer that was full of slag. Slag is a by-product made during the smelting of metallic ore.
