Tractor Trailers | Non Secured Equipment - Vehicle Crash | I-85 - Petersburg, Va.

A tractor-trailer crash on southbound Interstate 85 closed the highway in both directions for an extended period this morning near the Squirrel Level Road interchange in Petersburg.
No injuries were reportedVirginia State Police said the crash occurred when a piece of equipment from a flatbed tractor-trailer came off the trailer and came to rest in the right lane of the southbound interstate.
A 2005 International tractor with dual trailers traveling southbound ran over the piece of equipment, went off the left side of the roadway and struck about 200 feet of guardrail, causing the second trailer to overturn.
