Tragic Virginia Accident Results in Fatality & Serious Injury

A tragic Virginia truck accident involving two pickups resulted in fatality for one, life-threatening injuries for another, and injuries to a third party in New Kent County Wednesday, April 21, according to WTVR.  Although the devastating crash was still under investigation by Virginia State Police at the time of the report, a news release revealed some details of the fatal truck accident.  According to investigators, the crash occurred when the driver of a Chevrolet 1500 pickup crossed the double yellow line of Route 611 and slammed head-on into a Nissan Titan.  In the serious Virginia truck wreck, the driver of the Chevrolet was killed, and the driver of the other vehicle required transportation to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The passenger from the Chevrolet was taken by helicopter to Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
