In light of the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Mark Day, Captain of the Golder Ranch Fire Department in Tucson, speaks out on his recovery from a traumatic brain injury, says the Tucson channel KGUN-9. Day was injured in 2005 when a 16 year old driver hit him on his motorcycle. The speed at which the car hit him caused Day’s helmet to crack and caused a traumatic brain injury. He has been recovering from the accident in 2005 and is now able to go back to work and is trying to live his life as normally as possible, even though it is apparent he is a changed man since the accident.
