The crash happened around 1:30am Saturday on India River Road, near Winston Avenue. Virginia Beach MPO Tonya Borman told WVEC.com that the driver steered around a curve, but lost control and ran off the road, striking a tree. The driver died at the scene. No further details available at this time.
