Virginia Labor Day Crashes | Fourteen Fatalities

This Labor Day proved to be one of the more deadly holiday weekends for Virginia travelers in recent years, according to preliminary statistics from the Virginia State Police.
The 14 deaths during the four-day weekend were more than each of the past two Labor Day weekends in which 13 died on Virginia roads.
And this Labor Day was the most deadly holiday travel period since 16 died during Thanksgiving in 2009, according to statistics from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
