The Virginia Gazette article; According to police, a 1995 Chevrolet Surban was traveling southbound on Route 619 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The driver,overcorrected, and the SUV ran off the left side of the road and overturned several times. The driver, Thomas L. Harvey, 51, of Stephens Church, died at the scene. He was not wearing a safety belt. The front seat passenger, 39-year-old Michael D. Perry of Tappanhannock, was taken to Riverside Tappahannock Hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. Perry was wearing a seatbelt.
