Reported by WRIC Richmond News; The vehicle drove south on Parkway Dr. when it crossed over Penniman Rd. and left the roadway. The accident occurred in the field near the intersection, the vehicle struck a tree and overturned.
The passenger 56-year-old Shirley Martin, was pronounced dead by MCV on July 15. Ms. Martin was an employee of DMV and was working in her official capacity at the time of the accident.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to Williamsburg Sentara Hospital. The cause of the accident is dtill under investigation.
