Woodbridge, Va. - Crash Causes Power Outage - Sudley Rd. Gas Leak

The Woodbridge wreck happened about 8:40 a.m. near Annapolis Way when a car struck and knocked over a utility pole. No one was hurt but Dominion Virginia Power reported 300 customers without electricity in the aftermath. Power crews expected repairs to take six hours.

On the west end, fire officials closed the intersection of Sudley Road and Lee Highway about 9 a.m. after finding a gas leak in the area. Fire officials have reopened the intersection with the exception of the left turn lane to Lee Highway.
