A Virginia Beach driver tries to flee after hitting a pedestrian and cars, on August 5, 2016 around 7:50 pm at Holland Road and Governor’s Way. A call was placed to Emergency dispatchers around 7:51 pm. Police stated that a pedestrian and several vehicles were struck by the driver at different locations. People witnessed a small black Honda hitting a pedestrian, a woman, and she flew up and onto the vehicle’s windshield. Eventually, the tragic events finalized as the driver crashed at the intersection of South Plaza Trail and Holland Road.

The vehicle was surrounded by police cars at the intersection of South Plaza Trail and Holland Road a short time after the accident was reported. Response time was ideal. The driver and the pedestrian were transported to local hospitals. The pedestrian was said to have significant injuries and the suspect driver only appeared to have minor injuries.
